INSTRUCTION FOR USE:
DOSAGE:
In pigs and chickens: 20.0 mg doxycycline per kg of body weight daily (equivalent to 40.0 mg product per kg of body weight), administered in the drinking water for 5 consecutive days.
In turkeys: 25 mg doxycycline per kg of body weight daily (equivalent to 50.0 mg product per kg of body weight), administered in the drinking water for 5 consecutive days .
ADMINISTRATION:
Based on the recommended dose, and the number and weight of the animals to be treated, the exact daily amount of the product should be calculated according to the following formula.

To ensure a correct dosage body weight should be determined as accurately as possible.
The required amount should be measured using a properly calibrated weighing device. The daily amount should be sufficient, and the entire prepared medicated water should be consumed within 24 hours after preparation.
The product may be dissolved at the required concentration at the time of use (within a maximum of 5 minutes) or pre-dissolved at a concentration of approximately 25–50 grams per litre of drinking water and then diluted to the required concentration. The entire amount of the product must be completely dissolved before administration.
During treatment, a sufficient amount of the product should be provided in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations. It must be ensured that the animals have adequate access to drinking water throughout the treatment period. At the end of treatment, the drinking-water equipment should be thoroughly cleaned to prevent the animals from ingesting any remaining product as an additional dose.
The medicated water should be replaced every 24 hours. It must be the only source of drinking water throughout the treatment period. Do not store the medicated water in metal containers.
The maximum solubility of the product in water is 72 g/L. The pH of the prepared solution is not stable and precipitation may occur if it is mixed with alkaline solutions.
WITHDRAWAL PERIODS:
Meat and offal of pigs: 4 days
Meat and offal of chickens: 5 days
Meat and offal of turkeys: 11 days.
