VACCINATION PROGRAM:

Birds can be vaccinated from one day of age onwards

The vaccine should be administered via the eye drop, spray, or drinking water routes.

Vaccine shall be reconstituted with sterile water free from disinfectant and/or antiseptic

Eye drop:

For 1000 poultry, reconstitute the corresponding lyophilizate pellet with the vial of diluent containing 1,000 doses. Shake gently until the vaccine is completely dissolved, then use the dropper supplied with the diluent vial. Catch the bird individually and administer one drop of vaccine into one eye of each bird. Wait until the vaccine drop has been completely absorbed into the eye before releasing the bird.

Spray:

Reconstitute the lyophilizate pellet corresponding to 1,000 doses into 3 to 5 ml of

non-chlorinated drinking water and subsequently dilute it into the volume of nonchlorinated drinking water according to the type of sprayer used (pressure-sprayer or sprayer with rotary cone).

Spray the vaccine solution above the birds using a spray capable of producing micro-droplets (mean diameter 80-100 μm).

Make sure that birds are closely confined together during spraying. The ventilation system of the poultry house should be inoperative during the spray administration.

Drinking water

Reconstitute the vaccine pellet corresponding to 1,000 doses into 3 to 5 ml of nonchlorinated drinking water and subsequently dilute it into the volume of nonchlorinated drinking water to be consumed within one to two hours.

When using mains water, treat all water with skimmed milk powder at a rate of 2.5g per liter to neutralize traces of chlorine.

Distribute the vaccine solution at the time of use to birds. Birds should be deprived of water for two hours before vaccination.

Contraindication: Do not vaccinate diseased birds.

SPECICAL PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

The use of this vaccine does not affect the egg-laying rate.
